During the Park and Recreation meeting Wednesday night it was decided that the City would determine if there were any zoning problems with placing the park in the location we chose.
Today we received a call from Sean Brusager, with the City of Stoughton and he confirmed that the zoning department has determined there does not seem to be a problem with placing our park where we want it. This is excellent news!
The next step is to confirm with the Tree Commission and Forestry Department that there will not be a problem placing the playground in the wooded area of the park as it will require some clearing of the trees.
We are so blessed to be receiving such amazing support from the City of Stoughton.
